Winter Roses

 

 

A rather delicate looking gift wrap is this bottle with a paper snow and an ice rose on top. However, it will stand out. We used white and silver tissue paper for our bottles to give it a winter look. Soft pink or red tissue paper can be used throughout the year.

 

 

Wrap a bottle with a couple of layers of paper, and secure with tape. Fold the bottom part in and tape. Tie a piece of thick thread around the bottle neck. Wrinkle the excess paper on top and squish it carefully together and shape it into petals. Adorn the bottle with a nice satin ribbon around the bottle neck.

 

 

Paper roses can also be used to decorate a gift box. Use three or four tissue paper strips. Accordion fold the beginning bottom part and wrap the rest loosely around the the bottom. Tape it tightly and cut the bottom off except about 1/2″. Glue the paper flower onto a wrapped box. Once the glue is dry, form the paper into a blossom.

This beautiful silver angel was made made with grey card stock. It was then embellished with silver tissue paper.
