Recycled Glass Jars
We all have a bunch of different empty glass jar sitting around in cupboards. Here is a selection of ideas to spruce them up for Christmas.
Golden
Use a larger glass and wrap the flat part with an luxurious gold wrapping paper. Tie a gold cord around the jar neck and stick a few golden leaves under the cord. Add a large tealight.

The second jar was wrapped with a bold black and white print. The final touch is a silk ribbon.
Polka Dots and Paper Heart
A paper heart is attached to black silk ribbon and tied to the glass. The tealight sits in a cupcake paper with polka dots.

Stars
Cut out a bunch of paper stars. You need two per set. Glue two together with a thin long wire in between. Make the chain as long as you desire. Wrap the star wire around the glass and tie the ends together.

Gingerbread
Tie a satin ribbon around the jar neck and include two wooden gingerbread ornaments or whatever you find in your treasure chest.
I found our wooden gingerbread cookies at the Vancouver Christmas Market. They are from Christian Ulbricht, Germany.
Straw Star
Same as above but the tealight sits in a gingham cupcake paper.
Rustic
This jar has packaging twine wrapped around the neck. Attached is a small jingle bell and a glass heart ornament. A tag printed on very light chipboard is added as a statement.
