Paper Stars
Wrap a present with a pretty plain paper. The paper star should be the focal point. This is also a wonderful project to teach children as it is fairly easy to accomplish.
“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder
Instructions
Fold a letter sized piece of paper along its width into even folds like an accordion
Fold it in half to determine the center and staple
Cut a half moon along the side with the open fold
Fold ends
Tape together
Repeat on other side
Glue or tape snow star onto box
These snow stars can also be used as tree decorations. But keep them away from candles. They are not suitable for outdoor use though but will still look lovely for a day or so.
