Good Luck Mushrooms for New Year’s Eve

There are many good luck charms such as horseshoes, clover leaves, chimney sweep and the cutest of all mushrooms the poisonous Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric.

The papier-mâché fly agarics inspired this New Year’s Eve arrangement. We used a bushy green, pine cones, wooden gingerbread figures found at the local Christmas market and a red candle for the center. Fill the bowl with floral foam, place the candle in the center and arrange the greenery around it. Then add the little decorations to the arrangement.

And on New Year’s Eve add a few sparklers to to ring in the New Year. Good luck!
