Decorating Ideas from IKEA
This tree and the elf makes me smile. It’s very whimsical.
Fall is the perfect time to go to the park or forest to gathers twigs and pinecones. All these foraged goods can be used for Christmas decorations. I always boil the pinecones in an old pan to be sure nothing will crawl out of it.
The above tree branch with decorations such a simple way to bring some Christmas flair into a home. It has a string of mini tree lights wrapped around the thicker part of the branch. Then it was decorated with blue and white ornaments. Something to create with children to get them into the spirit. Just make sure it’s a bit out of the way. Alternatively, the branch can be hung from the ceiling.
The colours in this living room nook are just stunning! And I love the little enchanted forest display on the side table.
If I would still be working in the hotel industry, I would insist to have the forest display at the front desk, or on a sideboard in the lobby. So playful!
