Activity Advent Calendar with Gold Foil

Last year I designed this advent calendar for us. It was again a calendar with daily activities that you can enjoy in the run-up to Christmas. The cards are split between us, everyone is responsible for twelve days of activities we can share. For this year I have embellished the calendar cards with bronze foil.

Here’s what we did in 2017 and 2019.

 

 

You can create the cards yourself. The numbers must be 100% black and printed with a laser printer not ink. It is important that you print with toner otherwise the film will not stick. If you like to draw the calendar cards by hand with a black felt pen, scan them in and you print them black and white. Our calendar has three days on an A4 or letter-size sheet. There are two ways to apply the film, either with an iron or with a laminator. I used Deco Foil, you can find it at a craft store or on Amazon.
